“We don’t want to be just a small group in Kibera but an important Organization. AFK is our Mother, Friend, Supporter and Advisor. I never came across any Organization like AFK, for us in Kibera, it looks unique Organization that is ready to help small group not only in resources but to make a small group to have a strong foundation for the future.”
“At the moment I feel nearer and nearer with AFK. I also appreciate your help in making me to be a professional person in my work to the community. I have learned a lot and I still need more teachings. Keep my words "SHOFCO and AFK will do wonders in Kibera" We have good combination and thanks for realizing my potentials.”

From Jane Kahuthia- Voluntary Counselors Kenya
We thank “Both Your Hands”, “American Friends of Kenya” and “Daemen College”, who have contributed to our organization directly and indirectly. We have noted that we have one vision in common: to help the children who are ignored and bring them together, as we work together as a team for the glory of God. Were it not for their support, we would not have achieved our goals.

From an orphan's aunt
Am sure this will take you by surprise but I felt I should write and appreciate what you are doing for the orphans.
I want to really thank you for helping me with my nephews sponsorship and the gifts you brought them.
It has not been easy for me but somehow God Has not left me alone. He has given me wonderful people who have been a blessing to me.
May God continue to bless you and give you energy and strength all the time.
Your Faithfully,
Fresiah

RE: REPORT ON THE BOOKS DONATION
It is with sincere appreciation that I write to say thank you for some books that were donated to us from your organization in September last year.
I came to know about your books through Rev. Dr. Julius Karanja and I expressed interest though we are P.C.E.A. sponsored school.
We received 666 books which were mainly novels and some other general books. The students received them with a lot of excitement. They had never seen so many novels! It was a big problem getting the girls out of the library especially in the evenings after classes.
The teachers too were excited about the books. Personally, I enjoyed reading the “Chicken Soup” series and some other religious books like “Esther” and miracles and mysteries of the Bible. I also enjoyed reading some motivational books.
May God bless your work as you continue serving him and mankind.
